Since it is unlikely the Japanese will build more units at Fukushima, why don’t we get the tooling for this Gen III reactor for use in the US? Involve Nippon Steel?
Hitachi has the rights to sell & build them outside of Japan. They tried to sell to us during the 0bama regime, but of course turned down. Hopefully they are offering them again during the Trump administration.
