The crucifixion of My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell by “wokefare” corporatists represents a new and dangerous form of uncivil warfare that threatens to further divide our nation even as it desecrates the First Amendment.
In pre-woke times, Mike Lindell would be praised across the ideological divide. He overcame a powerful drug and gambling addiction to create a powerhouse Made in the USA company employing thousands of Americans.
In fact, if every American CEO had the same Made in the USA ethic as Mike Lindell, I may never have served in the Trump White House. There simply would have not been any jobs and factories to help President Trump bring back home to America.
In these woke times, however, Mike Lindell has been under constant wokefare attack. Wokefare seeks to bankrupt any business that does not conform to the rigid doctrines of the Left; and Lindell’s original woke sin has been to openly question the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Never mind there is abundant evidence of possible fraud and election irregularities in the 2020 race – particularly in the battlegrounds of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin where Biden allegedly won the race. (For details, read the “Navarro Report” which I penned in the White House after reading thousands of affidavits, reviewing the lawfare tactics of Democrat strategists like Marc Elias , and watching enough video clips to give me “JFK stole it from Nixon” chills.)
Just how is wokefare being waged against Mike Lindell? It started shortly after Joe Biden took office when America’s Big Box and bedding retailers began choking off My Pillow’s retail distribution channels.
From the Shopping Channel, Costco, and Dollar General to Kohl’s, Target, and Walmart, more than 20 wokefare companies stopped selling My Pillow products. This, despite their popularity and profitably; and the hypocrisy of these woke corporatists is stunning.
In Woke Land, it’s perfectly acceptable to put a Made in the USA America company like My Pillow out of business if its CEO exercises his First Amendment rights. Yet, it’s equally acceptable for these woke corporatists to stuff their distribution channels with Communist Chinese products made with slave labor in highly polluted factories that benefit from the massive theft of American intellectual property and equally massive, illegal government subsidies.
It didn’t take long for the next wokefare jack boot to drop. It would come from Lindell’s bank, the Minnesota Bank & Trust. Despite years of Mike’s loyalty, this bank unilaterally closed all of his accounts, including the one for Frank Speech, Lindell’s TV network and First Amendment megaphone.
Comes now that paragon of wokefare virtue, American Express, in for the wokefare kill. After a very profitable 15-year relationship with My Pillow, AMEX has suddenly cut Lindell’s credit line from a million dollars to a mere $100,000, thereby crippling Mike’s ability to manage his cash flow.
Mike Lindell is hardly a wokefare victim outlier. He is just the very worst example of an unrelenting wokefare that corporate America is now raining down on folks all over Trump’s America.
Consider my own wokefare experience: After four years of White House service creating jobs and saving lives, the Chancellor at the University of California-Irvine where I’m professor emeritus cancelled my online courses on the leading Coursera platform. My loss of income was small compared to the loss of opportunity for students worldwide who could never afford an elite institution like the University of California – over a million students in more than 140 countries had already taken one of my courses.
Then there was my long-time speakers bureau, The Sweeney Agency. It declined to represent me as did leading Washington DC speakers bureaus. The rationale: With the “taint” of Trump, I was no longer marketable to a client list heavily skewed towards woke corporations.
Nor could I sign one of those million dollar book deals with a Simon & Schuster or Harper Collins – leading woke publishers who now regularly hand out massive advances to any ex-Trump officials willing to dump on Trump. While I would have several bestsellers with alternative publishers, I was again wokefared not once but twice by the editors of the New York Times Bestseller List; they refused to put either In Trump Time or Taking Back Trump’s America on the list – with a resulting massive loss in sales.
Of course, my lost wokefare income pales in comparison to what the wokefare corporatists are taking from Mike Lindell. The broader question is how can Americans who still believe in the First Amendment strike back?
Certainly, we can boycott. For my part, there’s not a snowball’s chance in Hades I will ever walk into a Wal Mart or use an AMEX credit card again or buy a book published by Simon and Schuster. And whenever I need towels, sheets, pillows, or sleepers, I’m skipping Target and Kohl’s and heading to www.mypillow.com.
Yet, what we really need is a reformed legal system that will empower wokefare victims to hold both corporations and woke corporate executives financially accountable for their attacks and resultant damages.
I, for one, will work hard to bring about such change if Republicans manage to seize both the White House and Congress in the 2024 election. Will you join me in that effort?
Buy his products and support Mike!!! He is fighting for election integrity!!!
The queen size pillows are the best!!
I have been a MyPillow customer for 4 years now. Stopped using anything near a big box store as soon as I saw what they were doing to him with their wokefare. Disgusting, evil beings. Not only that, there’s no Coke, Disney (No Mouse in this House tee shirts worn frequently), Netflix, Wells Fargo, and a number of others. We switched to Patriot Mobile two years ago and love them…threw out Verizon. We vote as clearly with our dollar as we do in the voting booth. Looks like I’m in need of some new slippers!
