The Firing of James O’Keefe, The Massacre in East Palestine, and Market Wrap
Peter Navarro’s Taking Back Trump’s America Podcast
Hi. I’m Peter Navarro, it’s February 24, 2023, and welcome to this edition of the Taking Back Trump’s America podcast. Today, I’m going to offer some reflections on the ousting of James O’Keefe at Project Veritas and drill down on two central points regarding the massacre of men, women, and children in East Palestine, Ohio at the hands of the incompetence of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. But first, a quick look at the economy and financial markets.
Right now, the trajectory of bond prices and stock prices are both singularly dependent on what the inflation rate going forward is likely to be. The inflation doves and stock market bulls have been betting on a steady deceleration of inflation, but this has been wishful thinking on the part of both the Fed chair and the Biden regime as well as a little misdirection by the touts on Wall Street who want to keep the stock market buoyant.
Meanwhile, the Smart Money on Wall Street has been steadily moving money out of the stock market and out of their cash into the bond market on the expectation that inflation will indeed be harder to tame than the politicians have been telling us. Remember here: A higher inflation rate means higher interest rates and a slower economy; therefore a bearish stock market. At the same time, investors love bonds when interest rates are higher.
The latest news today is sobering: The Federal Reserve’s favorite inflation gauge was hotter than expected – the personal consumption expenditures price index rose 5.4% from the previous year and the core measuring stick was up 4.7%. Not surprisingly, stock prices immediately fell on the news; and, as I’ve been indicating, I have maintained a bearish posture.
One of the major unaccounted for wage inflation drivers is the hemorrhaging of workers from the labor force during the pandemic – and that trend is continuing. Several million highly trained and experienced older workers have left the workforce through early retirement. This is hurting productivity and lower productivity means higher inflation.
There also may be a million or more other workers on the sidelines because of the effects of the Communist Chinese Party virus and the so-called “long Covid” that has turned to short-term deadly disease into a chronic type of CCP Hell. Let’s always remember where that damn virus came from – Communist China. Let’s also always remember who the Godfather of the pandemic was besides Xi Jinping. That’s right, Dr Anthony Fauci, who helped fund the Wuhan lab where the virus almost certainly originated.
Let’s turn now to the tragedy which befell not just James O’Keefe but this nation as the feckless – and possible Pfizer puppets– otherwise known as the Board of Directors of Project Veritas decided in their finite wisdom to fire O’Keefe just days after one of Project Veritas’s most successful undercover operations.
It was truly stunning to learn about the inner workings of Pfizer from the latest O’Keefe sting and how Pfizer appears to readily embrace rogue gain of function experimentation and tries to manipulate the global virology system for profit. There is much yet to know about how Pfizer may have gotten to the project Veritas Board of Directors – if that is what happened. In the meantime, here is my advice:
O’Keefe should immediately start his own Project Truth and take from Project Veritas as many investigators that are loyal to him. Most importantly, every donor to Project Veritas should immediately switch their allegiance to Project Truth to quickly get it off the ground; and each one of us should consider a small donation to O’Keefe’s new venture.
Lastly, we need to deputize an investigative reporter like Natalie Winters or Darren Beatty to go carefully through the resumes and documents of each of the Board of Directors of Project Veritas and see where the ties are that bind one or more of those Directors to the captains of industry behind this unnecessary and unjust termination of a true American hero.
Somebody or something got to that Board of Directors because this could just be sheer stupidity or jealousy. I suspect something far less than six degrees of separation to get to the truth Stay tuned.
As for our final story for today, we have been inundated with coverage of the toxic train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. In the wake of that derailment, railroad crews engaged in a controlled burn of huge quantities of the toxic chemical known as vinyl chloride. This burn was conducted for fear of a possible deadly explosion that the chemical was not dispersed into the environment.
In conducting the burn, these railroad crews were like a high school chem lab experiment gone horribly wrong– the burn manufactured other deadly compounds from dioxins to chlorinated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, all of which pose long-term threats to the residents of East Palestine and communities downwind.
On Steve Bannon’s War Room Pandemic shortly after this controlled burn, I drew the analogy of the toxic burn pits in Iraq that would remain latent in the blood streams of American soldiers and only surface as terrible disease problems months and years later. That’s the key word here, “latency.”
We don’t know yet – and can’t know yet – whether this disaster is Chernobyl or no big deal or somewhere in between; but we do know that people in East Palestine and surrounding communities are already beginning to suffer. This was inexcusable incompetence and lack of coordination from the Biden regime. This time Pete Buttigieg was not home feeding his newborn babies on leave. Presumably, America’s Transportation Secretary was actually at his command post but totally screwed this up.
For politicians, especially those politicians seeking to become or stay President, screw ups add up. This train derailment fiasco for Joe Biden follows on the heels of his mishandling of the Chinese communist spy balloon over Montana; and it will further dim his chances for reelection – the symbolism of each of these disasters is significant and together overwhelming.
As for Pete Buttigieg, during the 2020 presidential primary, he attracted a high enough percentage of votes from the gay community and millennials to appear credible; and so people are putting him on the short list of possible candidates if Joe Biden decides not to run. But this train rail disaster now coupled with Buttigieg’s total mishandling of America’s supply chains during the pandemic– and the resulting inflation that mishandling spawned – have effectively put an end to Mayor Pete’s political hopes.
The juxtaposition of Donald John Trump going immediately to East Palestine to offer comfort and support against the incompetence and indifference of Biden and Buttigieg represent the stuff that politics are made of. Score one for The Donald.
And that’s it for this edition of the Taking Back Trump’s America podcast. Please subscribe to this podcast and leave a review if you can as this helps get the word out. In the meantime, my mission in this podcast is to you with the news you can use AND put Donald Trump back in the White House come January 2025. Have a great weekend. Peter Navarro. Out.
