This is where rhetoric meets reality. People don’t judge policy by press releases—they judge it by their bank accounts. When working families, service workers, and seniors actually feel relief, the conversation changes fast. That’s the difference between theory and results. For a long time, economic policy felt distant, abstract, and disconnected from everyday life. Now, if these outcomes hold, it becomes something people can see and measure directly. That’s powerful. Because once people experience a benefit firsthand, it’s not a debate anymore—it’s a benchmark. And that’s when policy stops being political and starts being personal.
That is why our trifecta of Oregon Democrat leadership is siphoning federal tax breaks by increasing fuel taxes. They hate the idea that people should keep their own money and grow the economy through growing personal wealth.
What really needs to happen is bigger refunds and less government deficit spending. Otherwise, those tax refunds are becoming less valuable as inflation keeps kicking us in the rear and more electronic money needs to be manufactured.
I paid much less. As a senior I truly liked the $6000 SS deduction.

Perfectly said. Reality trumps spin. ( pun intended)

Larry Kudlow was right, you look great with that huge smile PN. Must be because prosperity is just around the corner. 😉
What tax cut? Republican idiot, kissing Trump’s ass.
That’s right. People who don’t pay taxes don’t receive tax cuts. They get benefits from those of us that pay.
Why would anybody pay taxes to this government? The waste fraud and abuse is beyond reproach. We are owed we should not have to pay.

We have social media. Everyone should be out there looking for ways to eliminate the Federal income tax. There's plenty of anti-tax groups out there.
Sorry I am a senior who pays a lot. Only a very small difference. I should not have to pay anything!!!
Do you have a large pension or other assets that may be significant? Maybe that's what happened.
