I’m not qualified to judge the merit of ideas presented. I do think we are where we are because of a deliberate set of decisions taken by Obama and Biden to strengthen Iran’s hand in the ME. Until the Democrats are out of office, we will not see better decisions being made in foreign policy and military strategy.

Watching all the young fighting age males just seeming to be hanging out waiting for a signal is something to worry about. Putin has re-issued his call for a ceasefire in Ukraine for a second time, but the Brandon regime and European countries don't seem to wan to try.
Peace will eventually prevail in the Middle East once Us hegemons leave the region permanently. The Middle East will sort out their problems and differences between themselves as they have done so for the past millenia. The only rotation for placing US forces in Erbil will be US troops in - US body bags back home; just as happened in Viet Nam, Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.
