I agree with you. No American company would be able to do this to a Japanese steel giant like Nippon. And, regardless, no foreign company of any kind should be able to take over our major national security assets like this. (I'd prefer if foreign companies in all industries were prohibited from doing this to any American companies)
Farming comes to mind in particular. I read that China has taken over much of the pork industry already ( In Main they have taken over most of the marijuana growing - no penalties for them, but how many back to nature hippies spent years in prisons for even minor amounts?)
Buying oil from Venezuela , 20-30 million new Americans crossing the southern border , why not stop production of the most important infrastructure material as well.. what could possibly go wrong!??
