Much like I commented before about much needed prison reforms, Perhaps this interview will get that ball rolling. If not now, when Peter Navarro is released. An the issue of putting people waiting for appeals for misdemeanors don't need to be in prisons. Just Lawfare for election interference.

On Jan 20, 2025, most of the Biden administration’s discretionary hires, and all political appointees, need to have their passports taken as they are investigated for the many crimes they have openly committed against Americans!
Peter only scathes the surface of the miserable implementation of the First Step Act enacted on 12/21/2018. The BOP still can't calculate on a timely basis the "projected release date" . this alone prevents the Re entry Managers from determining a proper date to assign eligible inmates to halfway house or home confinement. Although only 365 days of FTC can be applied to early release inmate earn FTC every months and the additional credits are NOT being applied to additional reentry time as prescribed by law. In addition the BOP will not credit as prescribed by law credits until an inmate is actually incarcerated ( designated location). This overtly omits time in detention and time in transition which can be an extended period often up to 1 year of incarceration without any FSA earned credits.

As awful as it is for Peter to be in prison, he is seeing first hand the corruption with the Bureau of Prisons.
Not to sound flippant, but Peter has "street cred" to know the travesties that are taking place.
