In most of my life I had been an independent. That meant no one party could take my vote for granted. The pendulum used to swing so that if the party in power went too far off the rails the other party would gain votes to recenter it. But somewhere along the way, I think the pendulum fell off. Now we have permanent feuding parties and the rise of the Uniparty = mainly RINOs that work with the demonrats to forward their workers paradise wet dreams while raking in the grift. So, I guess wanting to conduct ourselves under our constitution and live our lives and raise our families in traditional ways makes us extreme in this time. But it is they who are the extremists. They always accuse others of what they are doing. It is an old dog eared playbook, but it seems to still work.
