I have thought that for so long and I am glad someone made a petition! I think we need more like him in leadership- especially over the economic crisis we face! There is no one better to get our manufacturing base growing again and work on trade. It’s a disgrace he is in jail!!!

Posted this on the Dossier (Jordan Schachtel) substack about a week ago re: who should President Trump choose as VP. Every day it’s demonstrated that Peter is by far the best choice:

“The only person who has earned the trust of President Trump, both during and subsequent to his term, is Peter Navarro. He'd be an indefatigable foe against the Chinese and the corrupt swamp denizens; has the inside knowledge and executive experience to take charge of multiple 'must do' initiatives; importantly, he has the intellect to see the connections behind the whole picture and conceive of ways to resolve myriad problems; most importantly, he is unfailingly loyal to America and President Trump”.

I love Navarro; he’s brilliant and a wonderful MAGA disciple, but he doesn’t check a number of key boxes: fundraising, age or diversity. Trump needs a VP candidate who can bring major funds to the party, is young enough to take over the top job for eight years and who appeals to key constituencies (women, visible minorities, etc.). Make Peter a strategic advisor or cabinet member (secretary of the treasury?), but don’t put him on the ticket.

I get what you're saying but can we stop checking diversity boxes for once and just pick the best possible person for the job based on merit? Navarro, like Trump, works circles around people half his age. I don't think taking over the job for eight years would be required if he chose a great VP, which he would. As far as appealing to women and minorities, I think it's a myth that we will only vote for other women, POC, etc. Give us some credit (and note all the comments from women). I don't know why fundraising would be an issue. Is there another candidate who would do better in this regard?
