President Trump deserves his second term. Unless health issues make him decide that he can't run, I will not consider anyone else. I have little faith in the Republican Party, only some individuals in it. I have abandoned even seeing Fox News or listening to their Radio BS and don't understand why the few good people on Fox haven't bailed and gone their own way. I guess the big money is too much a temptation Money and fame over personal values and integrity = ("Get thee behind me, Satan.")
Thanks Peter for this interesting post. I was “mandate retired” in Sep ‘21. I got to read more and listen to lots of interviews, mainly on the pandemic. I read Matthew Ehret’s two volume “The Clash of Two Americas” and had American history handed to me by a Canadian. He outlined the basics the “American System” and the bullets I memorized were checked off in every Trump speech I heard. The difficulty with Trump is this: while I believe he would NEVER have mandated the shots, he has to quit pushing them. They are garbage and until he does, how do I know he will reform the public health agencies? Those criminals ran rings around him when in fact he had good advice available, but lacked he confidence in this particular area to stick to what I suspect he felt about medical interventions. Likely from his own experience. If he had followed up on bringing Kennedy into his administration we might be in a different world today. I am hopeful if he makes it back into the WH he will have learned a lesson. In the mean time he must disavow the shots. “I didn’t know” is perfectly acceptable. It’s a nasty world out there. Letting development go forward was understandable, but deployment in lieu of early treatment roll out was not, because he had lots of data on HCQ already. And excellent advice from sources other than Fauci and Birx. He was not up to managing the criminality of Fauci and the rest. He was a babe in their woods. Mandates under Biden are the consequence of Constitutional collapse ushered in by the usurpation.
Getting handle on DeSantis is something I’m trying to do. He has done some really good things. What is the downside? Why the friction? Is he really as superficial as you suggest? I hope not but what do know ... it’s the reason I read Substack! Thanks for this article.
DeSantis pushed the shots early on. I wrote to him, as a Florida expat in NJ, to BACK OFF THE SHOTS. And he did. See? He does whatever I tell him. I’m reading your posts to come up with more advice.
